Volunteer Camp Counselor Program 

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT HORSE CAMP

Pleasant Street Stable is offering high school students and adults the opportunity to cultivate leadership skills engaging with horses and children through her Volunteer Horse Camp Counselor Program.

Experience with horses is not necessary as long as the individual has the desire and willingness to learn. The Counselor Training Sessions are required and will focus on interacting with children, horse handling, and safety. Also addressed are the components of leadership including awareness, assertiveness, verbal and nonverbal communication, and emotional intelligence. Teri’s extensive equestrian and educational experiences bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her programs.

Volunteer counselors who are in high school may be able to use this valuable experience to fulfill their required service hours at school.  For more information and to register, call Teri Botfield directly at 818 359-3594.
